Look, everyone knows you have to pull up your socks and go nuts on the day after New Years or all will be lost. Gym memberships soar, fitness resolutions are written in blood and so on.But it’s not a bad idea to do some mildly serious stuff in the trough between Christmas and New Years. You ate yourself stupid (and maybe had a touch of anxiety) on Christmas…you may drink yourself stupid on New Year’s. So you may lack the strength to be worth much as you get to work on yet another new you on Jan 2nd.
So do some stuff this week. Default to what’s easy for youl…ie aerobics for me…weights for some. But spend some TIME at it. It’s hard to go nuts but do some long and slow. You’re getting in shape for getting in shape. Makes sense.
