Here’s a nice day for you. Got up at a reasonable hour with a wonderful house guest. Made blueberry pancakes…such a pleasant disgrace…then Hilary and I and Bobo got on teh bikes. Dynamite weather…stunner scenery and our pal was a good biker…she could easily keep up. Went some twenty miles, the two of them turned back (they’d do 35 miles) and I went on to do some more hills (to 50). As they used to say in those grade school essays, “We all came home tired but happy.” Such a joy.
