By the way, a plug for the Mayo Clinic. The level of kindness and civility among the staff at all levels was remarkable. They live with this kind of stuff all the time and have to get blase. And yet somehow they manage not to. I’m afraid that our New York City hospitals -as great as they are – could learn a lot.
