Here’s a nice note. Hilly and I had the good luck to meet Senator Dick Durbin a month ago, at the Chicago Bears game. He is an absolutely lovely guy, especially when you think he’s one of a handful of the most powerful men in the country.
Anyhow, he sent an email yesterday to say that he met Oprah at an innauguration event and she asked what he was reading. To which, he answered, Younger Next Year and so on about President Obama having it too.
So Harry and I are sitting patiently, waiting for a lightning bolt from Oprah. She would of course be a great spokesperson for this little crusade we’re on. Oh boy!
