Slight change of surgical plan: now gonna have that hip operation with a Dr. Coleman at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, not in Vail with Dr. Philippon. Turns out to be radically more convenient and – most urgent – stunningly cheaper because covered by Medicare insurance here. So there I go. No date yet but soon. Wish it were tomorrow. I am SO sick of this. Hard to make yourself workout with this damned thing, even though I know it’s important to the success of the operation. So I do it, but with an uncharacteristic touch of grumpiness. Grumble.
