On Sunday, I go to Aspen for another Total Immersion Week. Goody, that’s fun. Trouble is (or was a week ago), I had been doping off a little and did not feel like an avatar of Younger Next Year. So, for the past week or so have been a good kid again….four days of pretty vigorous aerobics (typically a 20 mile bike ride) and two days of strength (in own gym, with Cheat Sheet for Billy’s workout…heavy on lunges and squats). Here’s the pleasant news: it worked pretty fast. I wasn’t in appalling shape to begin with, but a week or so of fairly heavy workouts and I am close to my (not very impressive) norm. Message: this stuff works; it works fast; and it’s a joy to be in decent shape.
