Dear Bloggers, I have to drop a name. Sorry, but I want you to know that I routinely bike with the brand-new New York State Road (Bike) Racing Champion, Michael Patterson, for men 55 and over. And you should know that Michael is WAY "over" 55. He can barely remember 55 but he bikes with all the restraint of a child. Which makes him even more of a star. The notion of jumping into a peleton of crazed and shoving bikers (some of them as young as 55!) strikes me as insanity, but I have a certain wistful admiration too. And deep anxiety too: I am going biking for five days, next week!!, with this very same lunatic. Any advice?
