There’s really just one common stopping place in the little town of Salisbury, up here in the Berkshires and that’s Joe’s great coffee shop. The guy gets up at four to make pastries and opens the doors at seven. (You can get in earlier if you go around the back…he’s in there).
Anyhow, he’s talking about quitting and the town is in despair. So key to have a crossroads, a point of casual confulences in your town. Bill Witte’s Adult Community Symposium last week was all about that. So we’re gonna see what we can do up here to hang on to Joe. Or the shop. Matters a lot.
