Our month in Pairs (and St Remy and Collioure) have flown by and we’re down to the last two days. Pretty good days too. Went to our favorite museum this morning… Musee D’Orsay… for a couple of hours. Amazing stuff. Also fantastic views of the city from the roof. Tonight, for a grand finale meal here, going to Joel Robuchon, the most popular (and fancy) restaurant in town. Our reservation: 10 p.m. Are we sophisticated, or what? Actually, it’s just an early bid to begin to get used to New York time on Monday.
One Paris insight: there is almost NO JUNK FOOD HERE. The default place for lunch is a bistro (of which there seem to be thousands) and the food there is a) pretty good and b) pretty healthy. Sigh. Olive, especially, is sad
