If you lecture on YNY, people are apt to be very kind and say how young you look and all that. I know better but it is very tempting to believe it.
The other evening on Ride The Rockies, I got a little check. I asked the kid at the desk of the hotel to call me a taxi…I would wait downstairs in the bar. Soon the phone in the bar starts ringing but the bartender’s left. Eventually I walk around the bar and answer it. The kid assumes I am the bartender and says, ” IS THERE AN OLD GUY DOWN THERE WAITING FOR A TAXI?” Goan.

Off to BRASIL TOMORROW FOR A WEEK to beat the drum for the Portugese editions. No blogs for a bit. Should be fun.
