And, blissfully, my step son (the little guy is 46) is a serious biker and took me over the Golden Gate Bridge and out on a loop to a lighthouse and all over the place. Three thoughts: 1, what a wonderful bike ride 2. what a break to stay close to your ex-step-sons asnd family generally and 3. what a treat to be able to bike up these slightly serious hills and see all this stuff at the tender age of 72. Major break.
